Turn left or right

Well the plan was to leave Felixstowe on Friday turn left and head for Whitby, but it looks like the weather gods are going to give Northerly winds next week leaving the prospect of tacking up the North Sea . So its now turn right and head for Ramsgate or Dover and a series of day sails along the channel towards the Scilly Isles.

The Yacht Havoc

Havoc is a modern 34 foot performance cruising yacht, with all navigational aids , autopilot and even hot water. Underwater is a lead fin keel which will keep us upright but the depth will prevent us entering some of the shallow anchorages on route. There is accommodation for 6 in 3 cabins so plenty of room for the two of us to have our own space at either end of the boat. Nearly everything is on board including an inflatable dinghy and outboard motor to allow trips ashore to the distillery's :) We may even have room for two folding bikes .
